Turning up the Heat

Turning up the heat.

December seems to always bring out the blinging (adorned fashion and shiny jewels), the singing (carols) and the need to uber-hydrate inside and out. It’s time to dust off your shiny shoes (although I hope you have been wearing them all year) and change up that skincare routine because if you are like me, you are looking to create a bit of heat (with a stunning look), and have your skin and body light up the room with it’s hydrated radiance.

Moisturizing cleansing balm for the face

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

The moment you scoop up a bit of this beautiful balm, you know the magic is about to happen. It was given to me as a gift and I won’t go back to my old cleanser any time soon. It lives up to the hype and is instantly nourishing, hydrating and soothing.

TATA HARPER Hydrating Floral Essence

I take this with me everywhere I go for an instant refresh. It boosts hydration, smoothes skin texture and minimizes wrinkles and can be used under and over makeup. With essence of rose and lavender, 86% of total ingredients from organic farming, as well a being formulated, manufactured and packaged in VT (my home state) it’s a win, win, win for me and my face.

body oil with gold and hyaluronic acid

KOPARI Golden Aura Body Oil

Party time means baring a bit of skin. This hydrating oil, complete with flecks of 24K gold, makes my shoulders, arms, back, and legs glisten all night long.

SIMKHAI Arta Bustier Mini Dress

I have never wanted to feel like a human chandelier more than I do now ( and I mean that as a compliment). Something about the bell shape and elegant drop embellishments against the black background make for the perfect mini dress to light up the evening under a dim holiday moon.

ZARA Sequin Blazer

A must for every women on earth, a sequin blazer is instant party. Worn with everything from jeans to matching pants, this staple piece will last decades in your closet. Bonus, you don’t need to break the bank to find one.

P.A.R.O.S.H Sequin Skirt

I can’t get enough of red sequin skirts (I have three). Another staple for the festive season, whether mini, maxi or midi, you won’t regret adding it to this season’s repertoire of fashionable pieces.

MANGO Semi-transparent Disc Dress

I am always looking for versatile pieces (because let’s face it, I don’t have a ton of occasions to wear a full-length sequin dress every year) so this dress from Mango is a nice compromise. Slinky, sexy and it is two separate pieces, so you can wear the outer layer as a top or over another dress, all year round.

RABANNE Sparkle Mini Bag

Known for his disc-o dresses and pieces, this little gem is something I will pass down to my daughter. It’s fun, it’s sparkly and it’s a forever favorite.

SWAROVSKI Millenia Necklace

It’s bold and it’s beautiful so you are certain to get compliments wearing this octagon-cut necklace in festive green.

Swarovski

JIMMY CHOO Verity Sandal 100

Always a fan of pretty feet and their is nothing better than a pair from JIMMY CHOO.

RAT AND BOA Solar Dress

Sequin dresses sometimes all seem to look alike, which is why before now I have not owned one. But when I saw this dress on Grece Ghanem it stole my heart. Cut on the bias, low back, interesting neckline and draped front – so much to love and not look like the cookie-cutter versions I had been seeing. Thanks for the inspiration!
