At 59, I am a personal style enthusiast and pro-age advocate living in greater Boston, Massachusetts, USA. I love finding the perfect balance of texture, color and shape to reflect my mood and then create images that communicate confidence, sensuality, energy and an ageless attitude.
Fashion is something I navigated toward at a young age and adored going to visit my mom at work at a local department store. Not surprisingly, I received my first degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retailing from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont (where I grew up). I later went on to get a second degree in Advertising and Communications at Emerson College in Boston, MA. Moving back to Boston, I started what would be a 30+ year career in marketing for multiple fortune 500 high-tech companies. I am a mother of 4 (blended family) and wife to my husband who is my (unwillingly recruited) photographer.
I classify myself as a semi-professional photographer, having taken courses at New England School of Photography and for a time, having an in-home portrait studio. I have always loved art and for many summers, I would assist my girlfriend in curating her gallery and attending artist receptions. I started my Instagram 5 years ago, and saw it as a creative space, and a place to express my love for colorful, emotive dressing, after getting numerous, random compliments about my style. Now globally 80K+ strong, I use it as a platform to advocate personal style at any age.
I have had the honor of participating in various style and pro-age podcasts and appearing in international magazines including Woman & Home UK and Jana Luxury, Estonia as well in the March 2024 issue of e-magazine, The Pro-Age Woman. I was also honored with a Red Shoe Leader Award in March 2024, by the Red Shoe Movement, for inspiring women to embrace style without limits.
As I continue to reinvent myself and try new things, a natural blend of fashion, photography, art and pro-aging began to emerge. Bringing these things together to create and share with you, is my next chapter. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
